Friday evening saw a small group of us head to Peterborough to try and win our fortune at the Greyhound stadium. This a regular event that we do two or three times a year, and the stadium tickets offer very good value with food thrown in.
Mostly we were disappointed on the betting front, no-one won their fortune, athough I believe Dawn C did manage to get most of her stake money back over the evening, but we still had an enjoyable evening.
We did pity the outdoor staff there, as the rain appeared to be coming sideways across the track whilst we were nice and warm inside!
