Another award! Presented at the National AGM in Warwick on 24th February 2007, National Best Group award.

Just what some of us needed after a late night, a 7.5 mile walk on the north Norfolk coast!
The weather was positvely spring-like, perfect.
The walk started at the local deli where we stocked up with goodies to keep our energy up for the walk (I can recommend the treacle tart!). We followed mostly roads, and being a reasonable sized group got the chance to chat with different people as we went.
A mid-way refreshment break at a local hostelry saw us through to the end of the walk, via a scenic marsh bank and back to Cley for the final stop – lunch at the pub.
Highly recommended – look out for the next walk which again be a marsh-type route – out to the targets on the bombing range at Gedney Drove End at the end of March.

Seven of us travelled down to Hornchurch on Saturday night to attend the Dr Who disco run by Romford & Havering Plus Groups.
A good do, made even better by the presentation of both the Best Group and Footsore trophies to our group during the course of the evening.
We were sadly lacking in fancy dress, Colin’s cyberman mask being the only contribution, and I believe that was actually “borrowed” from his daughter for the evening. A difficult theme though – thats my excuse (oh and the Dalek outfit was in the wash!!).
A late one, as the bar was open until 1am and some people stayed up even later drinking coffee before leaving to go home around 3am - dirty stop outs! All good preparation for the 7.5 mile walk the next day……!!!
